A full report will be printed in the next edition of the TWAM Newsletter.

The event was officially opened by the Mayor of Ipswich, Councillor David Goldsmith.

The exhibition included stands by regional workshops, the history of TWAM, and displays of tool kits, sewing machines, knitting machines, computers and typewriters.

The exhibits of water storage, pumping and toilets were arranged just outside the building and produced much interest.

Two seminar streams ran to enable the attendees to hear, first hand, about the use of tools and support in the receiving countries. These were very well attended with every seat taken and many standing. Some of the speakers at these seminars were :

Faith Liyena
Zambia

Bisi Fadeyi-Adetuberi
South Africa

Glynis Potter
Rwanda

The day ended with a service of Thanksgiving.

Music was provided by Earl Soham Baptist Church Worship Band.

Prayers were said for the overseas projects by Faith Liyena, Jane Bradshaw and Bisi Fadeyi-Adetuberi.

Rev. Jonathan Edwards, General Secretary of the Baptist Union of Great Britain spoke on the history of TWAM.

Adrian Plass was the guest speaker. He made us laugh but also made us consider what sort of a Christian life we live. Are we practical in our belief? Do we actually serve others? He reminded us that we are God's hands and feet on this earth. If do not do His will then it will not get done.
